Nursery Teacher
We are looking for a proactive, motivated, and energetic Early Years Educator to join our Nursery.
Main Duties:
• Planning and carrying out activities in line with the requirements of the early years EYFS. This involves developing long, medium, short plans and lessons plans to support children learning and development.
• Motivating and stimulating children’s learning abilities, encouraging learning through first-hand experiences.
• Organising learning materials and resources.
• Working with the teaching team to plan and coordinate activities (indoor and outdoor).
• Recording observations, assessing and summarising each child’s progress and achievements.
• Providing feedback to parents/carers on their child progress at parents evening and other formal or informal meeting.
• Liaising effectively with teachers, welfare officers, health visitors and other professional staff as part of the routine consultative process.
• Contributing to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school. Complying with all the school policies and procedures.
• Ensuring all children have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.
• Participating in training and other learning activities and performance development.
• Level 3 childcare qualification such as CACHE, NVQ, NNEB or recognised equivalent.
• Applicants must demonstrate excellent spoken and written fluency in French, Spanish, or English (equivalent to native/C2 level)
• The relevant knowledge to ensure efficient implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework and all associated requirements.
