Account Executive

Bicycle London
London
Account Executive (Studio Team)

This isn’t your standard "fetch the coffee" entry-level gig. At Bicycle Studio, we are looking for our next superstar. You won’t just be watching the action from the sidelines; you’ll be on the pitch.

We are an independent creative and media agency, and your role will be situated on the creative side - Bicycle Studio. Because we are a tight-knit team, you will get exposure that juniors at big network agencies wait years for. You will report to the Account Manager but have a direct line to the Business Director, giving you a front-row seat to how an agency is built, run, and grown.

Overall Purpose of the Account Executive Role:

You’ll be organising meetings with multiple participants, both internal and external, demonstrating your organisational, accuracy, and attention to detail skills - ensuring that all required attendees have responded to your meeting invite, they have an agenda, and the meeting location has been booked.

As you develop in your role, you’ll be given lots of tasks on a daily basis. You’ll need to swiftly get to grips with prioritising those tasks in order of urgency and importance. You’ll be working with various documents that need to be used collaboratively with the team you're working with. Own the team’s knowledge base and workflow.

Clients will also be in regular contact with the team issuing tasks for the week/day. Ensure you keep on top of communication coming in, putting yourself forward to support where you can.

Client & Account Support

  • Support the Account Manager in managing day-to-day client communications

  • Join client calls and meetings, taking clear notes and following up actions

  • Help prepare agendas, presentations, and status updates

  • Build confident relationships with client counterparts at a similar level

Project & Workflow Management

  • Help brief creative, strategy, and production teams clearly and accurately

  • Track timelines, deliverables, and approvals across multiple projects

  • Keep everyone honest on deadlines (politely but firmly)

  • Raise risks early and help find solutions before they become problem

Creative & Production

  • Coordinate feedback between clients and internal teams, especially the media team to ensure integration

  • Support production tasks such as asset lists, trafficking, delivery, and specs

  • Quality-check work before it goes out the door

Growth in the role

  • Understand how time, scope, and cost work in a real agency environment

  • Learn how the Business Director and Account Manager think about growth,

    value, and partnership

Technical skills

  • Assist your team in responding to briefs and client challenges.

  • Pull together interesting insights to help answer clients’ business issues.

Finance Management

  • Master the commercial side of agency life (finances, scoping, and profitability).

  • Keeping track of project utilisation

  • Raising POs

  • Managing the Billing Tracker with the media team and keeping up to date on a weekly basis

  • Scoping projects accurately

Essential Skills & Experience:

Experience: <2 years in an agency, marketing, or creative environment is great, but the right attitude beats a dusty CV.

  • Communicates clearly in writing and in person

  • Has strong attention to detail

  • Is proactive, positive, and not afraid to ask questions

  • Have experience with creative teams in some capacity

  • Care deeply about doing work you and your mum would be proud of

Hustle : You are smart, humble, and proactive. You don’t wait to be told what to do; you see a problem and you fix it.

Organised : You are hyper-organised. You can juggle invoices, meeting agendas, and creative assets without breaking a sweat.

Curious : You are obsessed with culture, advertising, and brands. You want to know why a campaign works, not just how it was delivered.

Tech-savvy : You are a native user of the Google Suite (Drive, Slides, Sheets) and can whip up a deck in no time.

People-first : Good ability to upward manage in order to fulfil the duties of the job. You are personable and able to participate and add value in internal meetings.

Remuneration & Benefits:

Annual salary of £28,000

Flexible, extensive benefits post probation can be found here .

Reasonable Adjustments

Please inform the People team if you require support prior to or during your interview and we will endeavour to support you to ensure you have every possible chance of success.
