Project Finance Credit Manager- Emerging Markets (French speaking)

I am searching for a highly experienced Credit Manager to lead the assessment and monitoring of credit risk across a diverse portfolio, including project finance, structured facilities, and corporate or financial institution exposures. You will be responsible for independent analysis of new credit applications, amendments, waivers, and annual reviews, supported by financial modelling and direct engagement with counterparties. The Credit Manager will produce clear, risk-focused recommendations for credit and portfolio committees and work closely with the Investment Team to ensure smooth transaction execution from application through to documentation.

Fluency in French and recent experience of transactions in Francophone Africa are essential. You will be responsible for ongoing portfolio oversight, with a focus on identifying early warning indicators and ensuring timely reviews in line with credit policy.

Experience in emerging markets is critical, along with the ability to coach teams on credit concepts and foster a strong risk culture. The role also includes analysis of stressed assets and delivery of lessons learned. International travel will be required to support business development and client engagement.
