Have you previously worked in a specialist setting or ASD provision? If you answered YES, this ASD Teacher role could be the perfect fit for you. The Position – ASD Teacher As an ASD Teacher, you will work within a SEN unit supporting a small group of 6–7 pupils with ASD, including children with pre-verbal autism and complex needs. Although the pupils are primary-aged, they are working at EYFS level, so an understanding of early years practice, communication strategies, and sensory-based learning is essential. You will be responsible for planning and delivering highly differentiated lessons, working closely with specialist support staff and external professionals to meet individual EHCP targets. This role is full-time, though part-time applicants will be considered for the right candidate.
