Fresh from securing three offers on BBC Dragons’ Den, we’re on an exciting growth journey — scaling from a £7m brand today towards £50m+ in the years ahead, with 230% year-on-year growth already underway. 🚀 The Role

We’re looking for a Head of Operations — a leader who can build teams, design systems, and get stuck into the work that drives growth.

You’ll oversee and elevate the operations function at Mother Root, leading a talented team across supply chain, production, fulfilment, technical and customer service. You’ll bring structure and strategic direction while rolling up your sleeves to deliver the systems and partnerships that enable scale.

You’ll champion operational excellence in service of the customer — ensuring every bottle, box, and interaction feels seamless and full of care.

This hybrid role blends coaching, building and orchestration — helping the team perform at their best while laying the operational foundations for growth in the UK and beyond.

📋 What You’ll Do

  • Lead the operations strategy — aligning people, systems and partners behind Mother Root’s next stage of growth.
  • Manage and develop a talented team spanning Operations, Technical, Customer Service and Delivery — creating clarity, accountability and momentum.
  • Oversee day-to-day performance across production, fulfilment, quality, and customer service, ensuring every touchpoint meets our standards of excellence.
  • Drive forecasting, planning and process improvement to keep operations one step ahead of demand.
  • Design and implement scalable systems that strengthen visibility, efficiency and control — setting us up for UK and international expansion (including the US).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Growth, Finance and Founders to deliver a seamless, customer-led experience from first sip to final delivery.

🎓 What You’ll Bring

  • Proven track record scaling a consumer brand from £10m–£50m+, ideally within food, beverage, or premium CPG.
  • Strong leadership experience managing cross-functional operations teams.
  • Deep operational expertise: supply chain, forecasting, production, and logistics.
  • Confident building and implementing new systems and processes.
  • Hands-on operator who thrives in execution — you build, test, and iterate quickly.
  • Strategic communicator who connects day-to-day operations to long-term business goals.
  • Calm, decisive and solutions-oriented under pressure

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Experience with international scaling (especially US) a strong plus.
