Design Manager
Randstad are currently recruiting a Design Manager to work with a very highly regarded tier 1 contractor on a major project in London. Responsibilities: Proactively drive and develop solutions to our client's problems Manage the technical risks on projects in relation to design and construction Develop and maintain the design programme, aligned, and linked to the construction Lead on design change control in collaboration with the commercial team Drive the application of digital engineering and BIM objectives Ensure technical compliance of design submissionsRequirements: Proven experience as a Design Manager in the infrastructure sector, with a focus on heavy civils projects. Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and industry standards. Knowledge/experience of M&E interface. Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of driving high-performance teams. Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build strong relationships. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
