Being a Care Assistant/ Care Professional is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same! You will be introduced to all new clients, and Care Professionals are matched to clients based on personality, background, hobbies and interests. With a minimum of 1 hour visits you have time to provide high quality, person focused care. Duties can include:
- Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
- Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
- Accompanying to appointments or shopping
- Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent Excellent pay rates - from £13.60 to £14.10 per hour, plus enhanced bank holiday rates
- Minimum of 1 hour calls - so you have the time needed with clients to care
- Types of hours available - from 10 hours part-time to 35+ hours full time
- Mileage - paid business mileage
