Infrastructure Engineer – Fintech50
Quant Capital is urgently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our high profile client.
Our client is a well known Quant risk consultancy.

This is a senior position running all of the IT Infrastructure for a small Risk business. You will report to the CTO and have full responsibility for IT.

On a day to day basis the Infrastructure Engineer will:
• Design, implement and support IT environments to meet business needs
• Manage change implementations full life cycle of new technologies
• Backup and disaster recovery strategy development, implementation and maintenance
• Support and continuously improve network security
• Research, recommend, procure and implement IT equipment and services, building strong relationships with suppliers and other third parties
• Management reporting to senior members of staff
• Maintain and upgrade machines out of hours to make sure no impact on the business
• Domain maintenance

The ideal candidate has experience in a small environment and is comfortable rolling their sleeves up and getting things done.
Infrastructure Engineers must have: (Below also shows tech stack)

• Microsoft, Gsuite & Windows technology experience
• Microsoft (MS) Active Directory & MS services and Exchange (Essential)
• Experience of supporting a multi-server network environment
• Networking, including DHCP, DNS, routing, VLAN, firewall, and VPN technologies
• The successful candidate will be educated to degree or equivalent level, possess relevant qualifications, e.g. Cisco, CCNA or CCNP certification, have experience of Office 365 Cloud and Microsoft Azure technologies.
