Electrical Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical projects from concept through to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to lead teams while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all phases of electrical projects, including planning, design, procurement, installation, testing, and handover.

*

Coordinate and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.

*

Develop project schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and quality control plans.

*

Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical standards, regulations, and health & safety requirements.

*

Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal departments to maintain clear communication and resolve issues promptly.

*

Monitor progress, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions where necessary.

*

Review technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.

*

Drive continuous improvement and promote best practices across projects.

Requirements

*

Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar role.

*

Recognised electrical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent).

*

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and industry regulations.

*

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

*

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

*

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

*

Proficiency with project management tools and software.

*

Full UK driving licence (or as relevant).
