Junior Legal Counsel (Product Compliance: Crypto)

Now we are looking for a Junior Legal Counsel (Product Compliance: Crypto) who will be responsible for providing legal support for crypto-related products and services, as well as offering guidance on compliance and regulatory matters within the crypto space.

What you will be doing:

• Conduct legal research on the regulation of digital assets.
• Provide legal advice to internal teams on VASP authorizations across various jurisdictions.
• Monitor, analyze, and assess regulatory developments in digital assets, while proactively updating teams on significant changes.
• Review marketing materials related to the regulation of digital assets.
• Assume additional responsibilities as assigned, with opportunities to expand your expertise.

What we are looking for:

Must have:

• Law degree. By way of exception, we are ready to consider candidates without a law degree but with extensive experience in compliance and good command of legal research skills.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to the crypto industry (preferably worldwide, at a minimum – in the EU), particularly in relation to the AML/CFT framework (customer due diligence, “Travel Rule”, etc).
• Attention to detail, strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.

Nice to have:

• Over 1 year of practical experience in the cryptoasset field or, generally, in AML/CFT-regulated companies.
