Salesforce Administrator

Dext
London

Who we are, what we do and why

Dext is a fast-growing fintech transforming bookkeeping through AI and machine learning. Founded in London, we now operate across Europe, North America, and APAC, with over 400 employees worldwide. Our platform empowers accountants, bookkeepers, and businesses to simplify accounting processes and make smarter, more timely financial decisions.

In 2024, Dext joined the IRIS Software Group, further strengthening our ability to deliver end-to-end accountancy solutions. We've achieved 99.5% data accuracy, saved over 35 million hours of manual data entry, and are trusted by 12,000 firms and 700,000 businesses globally.

The role, what you’ll do

We're looking for a Salesforce professional who's ready to make a real impact on our CRM systems and the teams that rely on them. You'll be first-line support for all things Salesforce, owning cases end-to-end, improving processes, and working alongside a team of Admins and Developers on strategic initiatives. If you're organised, proactive, and love solving problems in a fast-moving environment, this is your kind of role.

  • Own and manage internal Salesforce support cases end-to-end, from investigation and triage through to resolution and stakeholder communication
  • Act as the primary point of contact for CRM-related support, keeping users informed with clear and timely updates
  • Identify bugs, feature requests, and user errors, escalating where needed while maintaining full ownership
  • Liaise with Sales and commercial stakeholders to clarify issues, manage expectations, and drive resolution
  • Spot trends in support requests and proactively flag opportunities for process improvement, training, or system enhancements
  • Take ownership of small-scale projects and technical debt initiatives, delivering independently with guidance from senior team members
  • Support testing of new features, configurations, and releases, including writing and executing test cases
  • Create and maintain high-quality documentation: user guides, process docs, and well-structured Jira tickets
  • Own the preparation of monthly CRM updates, producing clear, concise content with supporting screenshots
  • Use AI-assisted tools where appropriate to improve efficiency in documentation, troubleshooting, and day-to-day tasks

About you, what we are looking for

Must-haves

  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM or a demonstrable ability to learn quickly
  • Strong organisation, attention to detail, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and requests simultaneously
  • A logical, problem-solving mindset with good awareness of when to escalate
  • Experience in a fast-paced or collaborative team environment
  • Right to work in the UK or Bulgaria without visa sponsorship

Nice-to-haves

  • Salesforce Administrator certification (or actively working towards it)
  • Exposure to Salesforce ecosystem tools such as Salesloft, Ringlead, Calendly, or Clay
  • Experience with documentation, testing, or process improvement
  • Familiarity with AI or automation tools to streamline workflows
  • Active Trailhead learner or general interest in continuous Salesforce development

What you'll be part of, our values, culture & behaviours

We are a highly ambitious, innovative, market-leading FinTech, PE-backed by HgCapital, moving with the pace of a scale-up while building for the long term. Our three values guide everything we do:

  • Be Brave: Everyone has a voice to challenge ideas and the status quo
  • Be Exceptional: We set high standards and hold ourselves to them
  • Be Together: Individual success only exists within team success

Our behaviours shape how we work day to day: Be Diverse, Be Courageous, Be Considerate, Be Transparent, Be Focused, Be Accountable and above all, Be Dexterous.

What we offer, the perks

  • Competitive base salary
  • Hybrid working with our London office
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays, volunteering days, summer hours, and a day off the week of your birthday
  • Employer-paid private medical insurance and health cash plan (Medicash)
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Income protection
  • Mental health support through Help@Hand
  • Work abroad for up to 20 days per year
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity leave
