Salary: circa £50,000 + benefits
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead a large, multi-faceted leisure centre in West London. This is a fantastic opportunity to take the helm of a vibrant community hub, overseeing a diverse facility that includes a swimming pool, fitness gym, group exercise studios, and a wide-ranging programme of wellbeing activities.

The Role
As General Manager, you will have full operational and commercial responsibility for the site. You will lead a large, multidisciplinary team, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, health & safety, and customer experience. You will drive performance across all areas of the business, balancing financial sustainability with a genuine focus on community impact.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strong leadership and direction to a large team across multiple departments
Oversee day-to-day operations of the leisure centre, including pool, gym, and studios
Drive commercial performance, membership growth, and retention
Ensure exceptional customer experience and community engagement
Maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and compliance
Manage budgets, reporting, and overall site performance
About You
Proven experience as a General Manager within a similar leisure, fitness, or multi-use facility
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop large teams
Commercially astute with a track record of delivering results
Passionate about health, wellbeing, and community-focused services
Excellent organisational and communication skills
A hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to manage a fast-paced environment
