Your Role as NPD & Regulatory Manager This pivotal hybrid position combines strategic regulatory oversight with hands-on product innovation. You'll be the bridge between creative vision and compliance reality, ensuring every product meets international standards while maintaining the brand's commitment to natural, sustainable beauty. Working from their South London office four days a week (9-5) with flexible Friday remote working (9-4), you'll report directly to the Head of Product. Your Key Responsibilities: Product Innovation Leadership- Drive complete NPD project lifecycles from initial concept through to successful market launch
- Collaborate with Marketing, Design, and Operations teams to deliver on-brand products within tight timelines
- Transform market trends and consumer research into commercially viable product concepts
- Partner with suppliers and laboratories to develop formulations that align with sustainability values
- Oversee primary and secondary packaging development ensuring functionality and brand consistency
- Manage critical path timelines for all NPD projects
- Ensure comprehensive compliance with cosmetic regulations across UK, EU, US, and international markets
- Manage Product Information Files (PIFs), Cosmetic Product Safety Reports (CPSRs), and labelling compliance
- Handle product registrations across relevant portals including CPNP and SCPN
- Monitor regulatory changes and advise on potential impacts to existing product ranges
- Coordinate with external regulatory bodies and specialist consultants
- Maintain and enhance documentation systems, project trackers, and critical path schedules
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across NPD and regulatory processes
- Spearhead problem-solving during development phases and post-launch challenges
- Manage EPD regulatory changes and artwork updates
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in NPD and/or regulatory roles within cosmetics, skincare, or personal care sectors
- Strong working knowledge of UK/EU/US cosmetic regulations and compliance frameworks
- Exceptional project management and organisational capabilities
- Detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving mindset
- Proven ability to manage multiple overlapping project timelines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-department collaboration
