The Role – Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant
The Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant will support learning in an EYFS, KS1 or KS2 classroom, working closely alongside the class teacher to help pupils make progress across a range of subjects.
You will play a key role in building pupils’ confidence, supporting individual learning needs and contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child is encouraged to succeed.
This Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant role is ideal for aspiring Primary teachers, Educational Psychologists or Child Psychologists looking to gain valuable classroom experience before progressing onto a PGCE or further professional training.

Ideal Candidate – Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant
- Degree in any subject area; Education, Psychology, Early Years, Early Childhood or other Social Sciences are preferred but NOT essential
- Enthusiastic about helping young people learn
- Strong communicator with empathetic and patient nature
- Professional, committed, and proactive
- Must have the right to work in the UK
