The Company

A London–based B2B and B2E events agency, boutique in structure but operating at genuine scale. Projects span large–scale conferences, exhibitions and internal comms events across the UK and Europe, for a roster of global blue–chip clients. The culture is deliberately hands–on at every level: client–facing from junior to senior, no hierarchy for its own sake, and a mature approach to how people work. As an Events Director, you will feel that from day one.

The Role

The Events Director role sits within the Projects delivery team and leads end–to–end project management on the agency's flagship conferences, including multi–day, multi–workstream events at GBP3–5m budget level with audiences of 1,500–plus attendees.

– Lead project management on flagship multi–day, multi–workstream conferences

– Own budgets at GBP3–5m scale from planning through to delivery

– Manage multiple workstreams and supplier relationships simultaneously

– Serve as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders

– Work across UK and European event locations depending on project

– Collaborate across Projects, Production and Creative delivery teams

The Candidate

The right Events Director will have a track record of hands–on delivery on large–scale B2B events or conferences, with direct experience managing budgets at GBP1m–plus and coordinating multiple workstreams across multi–day programmes. Crucially, this is a doing role as much as a directing one: the team values people who are fully in it alongside their colleagues, not managing from a distance.

Backgrounds in large–scale B2B events and conferences is essential as is large scale budget management. What matters most is the ability to operate at senior level without losing the hands–on instinct.
