About the Role

The Senior Administrator will provide high-level administrative support to the leadership team and manage a variety of school office functions. This role requires exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced educational environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative support to the senior leadership team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and drafting correspondence.

  • Managing complex administrative processes, including records management, data entry, and document preparation.

  • Supporting staff recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration as required.

  • Coordinating school communications with parents, staff, governors, and external stakeholders.

  • Managing office systems and ensuring efficient administrative procedures.

  • Assisting with the organisation of school events, assemblies, and staff meetings.

  • Supporting compliance with safeguarding, GDPR, and school policies.

  • Supervising and mentoring junior administrative staff where appropriate.

  • Producing reports and statistical data to assist with school monitoring and planning.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience in a senior administrative role, ideally within a school or large organisation.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with school management systems is desirable.

  • Professional, proactive, and reliable approach.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff is desirable.
