About the Role
The Senior Administrator will provide high-level administrative support to the leadership team and manage a variety of school office functions. This role requires exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced educational environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing administrative support to the senior leadership team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and drafting correspondence.
Managing complex administrative processes, including records management, data entry, and document preparation.
Supporting staff recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration as required.
Coordinating school communications with parents, staff, governors, and external stakeholders.
Managing office systems and ensuring efficient administrative procedures.
Assisting with the organisation of school events, assemblies, and staff meetings.
Supporting compliance with safeguarding, GDPR, and school policies.
Supervising and mentoring junior administrative staff where appropriate.
Producing reports and statistical data to assist with school monitoring and planning.
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in a senior administrative role, ideally within a school or large organisation.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with school management systems is desirable.
Professional, proactive, and reliable approach.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff is desirable.
