Senior Sales Manager
Full-time, hybrid based in Twickenham TW1 3QS
About the Role
We are looking for a driven and commercially sharp Senior Sales Manager to lead from the front in driving revenue across our growing, award-winning Packaging Portfolio, spanning three market-leading exhibitions: London Packaging Week, Paris Packaging Week, and Packaging Première Milan.
This is a high-impact role for someone ready to step up, take charge, and set the pace—both personally and for a small, ambitious sales team. Reporting into the Head of Sales, you’ll lead from the front: driving your own revenue, shaping strategy, and raising performance standards across the board, while working collaboratively with multiple sales teams across the portfolio to maximise commercial opportunities.
Our events sit at the heart of global capitals and focus on the packaging of luxury, premium drinks, and beauty. You’ll work closely with suppliers to some of the world’s most prestigious brands, including Dior, L’Oréal, Pernod Ricard, LVMH, Estée Lauder, Camus, Cartier, and Coty.
This is a fast-paced, commercially focused role where success comes from getting close to the market quickly—identifying opportunities, securing new business, and growing key accounts through effective portfolio selling across multiple revenue streams, including sponsorship and digital.
You’ll also have the opportunity to travel internationally, attending competitor events and meeting clients face-to-face—building your network, gaining market insight, and positioning our brands for continued growth.
We’re looking for someone with energy, ambition, and ownership—someone who thrives on exceeding targets, leads by example, and brings momentum to the team every day.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 2–3 sales professionals to exceed targets
Act as a hands-on sales leader, managing a portfolio of key accounts while driving new business growth
Deliver strong account management and maximise revenue through effective portfolio selling whilst driving revenue growth through sponsorship, digital, and other commercial opportunities.
Proactively source, develop, and secure new business opportunities across key markets
Analyse sales performance data and implement improvements where needed
Collaborate closely with Heads of Sales to align on strategy and drive overall commercial performance across the portfolio
Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to maximise revenue opportunities
Forecast sales performance and report on KPIs to senior leadership
Drive a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement
Represent the business at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings
Essential Criteria:
Proven track record in a B2B sales role with a minimum of 5 years’ experience and consistent achievement of targets
Strong leadership experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams (or ready to step into a team leadership role)
Demonstrated success in both new business development and growing existing accounts
Experience managing key accounts while maintaining a strong personal sales pipeline
Proven ability to sell integrated commercial solutions, including sponsorship and digital opportunities
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Hands-on, results-driven approach with strong commercial focus
Experience using CRM systems and sales data to manage pipeline and performance
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
Preferred Criteria:
Fluent in French and/or Italian
Previous experience within a similar role working on B2B Exhibitions
