Staff in the SEN department are highly valued, and there is a strong focus on professional development, collaboration, and support for all team members.
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing personalised learning programmes, monitoring pupil progress, and ensuring that teaching strategies meet the specific needs of each child. You will play a key role in preparing pupils for successful transitions and helping them develop confidence, independence, and essential life skills alongside their academic development.

Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress using appropriate strategies and tools
Develop and implement individualised learning plans, including EHCP targets

Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
Liaise with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure cohesive support
Maintain accurate records of pupil achievement and progress
Promote inclusion and a positive, supportive learning environment
Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies
The Ideal Candidate

Have excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Be patient, resilient, and empathetic
Possess strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities
Be committed to inclusion, safeguarding, and pupil wellbeing
The school is conveniently located in Enfield, with excellent transport links and a welcoming, diverse community. You will join a collaborative team that values innovation, high standards, and professional growth.
