Financial Analyst

THE ROLE
We are looking for a financial analyst to support the UK business and wider FP&A team as we develop and expand our processes and capabilities to create best-in-class financial analysis and reporting.
The role will require a passionate, driven individual who has experience of working in a fast-paced business and is used to delivering output to the highest standards.
The role reports into a senior FP&A manager.
What you will do:
Assist in the preparation of monthly UK management accounts
Support the UK business team with targets, KPIs and performance monitoring, including sales, revenue and profitability
Work alongside other parts of the Group as a finance business partner to facilitate cost performance tracking and support value-add activities
Develop financial models and provide financial and analytical input to support commercial business decisions
Help to optimise the preparation and reporting of management information by working closely with the business and data science team to deliver meaningful insights to decision makers
Assist with the Group’s budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes
Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools and dashboards
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The skills, experience, and aptitudes we are looking for are listed below but please don’t be discouraged from applying if you don’t meet every single one of these criteria – having a ‘can do’ attitude is sometimes more important than being able to tick every box:
Part / fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
2-5 years of business finance or other relevant experience
Proficient in MS Excel. Experience of model building beneficial
Strong commercial acumen and appreciation of performance drivers
Ability to present complex financial data in a clear and concise manner
Strong communication and presentation skills
Experience in financial services or technology sectors beneficial
Netsuite / Anaplan / Tableau experience benefici al
