Account Manager – Smart Managed Solutions - London

The Role
We're seeking a dynamic Account Manager to lead the operational and commercial performance of a key client contract. You’ll oversee the maintenance of M&E systems, lead on-site teams, and drive service excellence — while managing a contract P&L of circa £3m , ensuring strong financial performance and profitable growth.
What You’ll Do
- Manage PPM, reactive works, and full statutory compliance
- Lead, coach, and develop engineering teams (briefings, TBTs, appraisals)
- Produce accurate monthly client reports and maintain excellent communication
- Oversee QHSE audits, documentation, and performance standards
- Manage extra works, quotations, and supplier relationships within contract parameters
- Control budgets, monitor spend, and protect P&L performance (~£3m)
- Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery, efficiency, and profitability
What You’ll Bring
- 2–5 years’ experience in FM/operational contract management
- Experience of managing managers
- Strong understanding of M&E systems
- Confident in financial oversight, budgeting, and reporting
- Excellent client relationship and communication skills
- Desirable: 18th Edition, C&G 2391, Mechanical/HVAC qualifications
