Community fundraising manager
As part of a large-scale pilot, we've introduced our first on-the-ground fundraiser in the North West, with an initial focus on Manchester and Liverpool.
You're brilliant at cultivating long term relationships with a variety of new supporters to generate income, and have great community fundraising experience working with individuals, local companies and clubs and societies. You are proactive, flexible and can work in an agile way; perhaps you've helped to deliver successful pilots in the past. You are solution focused, creative and can turn ideas into action to grow income and engagement in the short and long term. You demonstrate confident and supportive leadership skills, and are ready to line manage a senior community fundraiser and help them excel. With great communication skills and an eye for detail, you're a team player and love working independently as well as part of a large team with various stakeholders. Joining the relationship fundraising team and working closely with the high value partnerships team, your time will be split in two. Half your time will be spent implementing a trial to further growth Tickled Pink, an award-winning partnership between Asda, Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel! which has raised over £100m. You'll support colleagues across Asda stores in your local area to help them raise even more through brilliant engagement. The other half of the role will see you build a portfolio of supporters in the North West, developing lasting relationships that will drive long-term sustainable income. You'll engage with individuals, clubs and societies, and local businesses, who'll be both new and warm to the charity. You'll also line the manage the senior community fundraiser in Scotland, who'll be delivering the pilot there. You'll inspire and support them to their best possible work and develop them in their role. What's really special about this role is that you'll be working as part of a supportive, innovative and fun team which has delivered continued growth in fundraising over the last five years. This is one of six roles which have been introduced as part of the pilot, and the goal is that they all become permanent. This role is home based with regular travel to meet supporters, and to spend time with colleagues at our offices in Glasgow, Sheffield and London. The salary range is: £36,750 to £39,500 per annumRecommended Jobs
