Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based (one Friday a month minimum)
Shift Patterns: Monday- Friday (7:30-3:30pm, 9:30-5:30pm)

We are hiring into our Data team at Royal London Asset Management, where we are dedicated to managing and optimising our data to support business objectives. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Data Management Analyst to act as a custodian of core data domains including security, portfolio, benchmark, reference data and product data. This role will support and provide exceptional data services to our Front Office desks and Client Group teams.
The successful candidate will support the business by acting as a Data SME, resolving data issues, monitoring controls, usage and maintaining Data Quality. The role will keep abreast of business, innovation, strategic and regulatory changes that impact data in order to understand the impact to RLAM.

About the role
- Setup, maintain and enrich core investment data across multiple domains (e.g. portfolios, securities, benchmarks).
- Investigate and resolve data quality issues, escalating where necessary.
- Provide subject matter expertise on data related matters, responding to business questions, resolving data issues and reporting data quality metrics.
- Understand data management processes and systems and how they support business objectives.
- Capture requirements for RLAM data including use cases for data extracts, reports, operational processes, controls and AI solutions.
- Undertake data management operational processes, including but not limited to those related to portfolio, security, benchmarks, pricing, classifications. data extracts, reports.
- Work collaboratively with RLAM data champions, data strategy, data governance and technology
- Understand business data requirements and ensure their alignment to RLAM data and AI strategy
About you
- Some experience in managing data within an asset management; portfolios, securities, benchmarks etc (preferred not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Growth mindset, naturally curious and eager to learn
- Highly process-driven with a sharp focus on continuous improvement and automation.
- Experience in data management practises and tools – such as Master data management, visualisation, relational databases etc
- Previous experience in automation and AI skills would be an advantage
- Some experience with SQL, Power BI, Power Automate would be an advantage
- Dashboarding experience with Power BI or Sigma
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Business Analytics, Data related or STEM.
- Experience of Blackrock Aladdin (preferred not essential)
