Assistant Property Manager

The Role :
As an Assistant Property Manager, you will be a key member of our Estate Management team, helping to ensure that our communities are well-maintained, and efficiently run. You will support day-to-day operations by engaging with residents, coordinating maintenance and repair efforts, and maintaining accurate records and systems. Your role will contribute directly to creating a positive experience for our clients.

What You’ll Be Doing :
Customer Service Be the first point of contact for residents, handling queries, resolving issues, and keeping communication clear, friendly, and professional.
Data Management : Keep our property management system (Qube) fully up-to-date, ensuring all information is accurate and organised.
Maintenance Coordinator : When something needs fixing, you’re the one to make it happen. Liaise with contractors, manage works orders, and ensure everything is done on time and to a high standard.
Health & Safety : Ensure all health & safety legislation and company policies are strictly followed, keeping our estates safe and compliant.
Financial : Help manage budgets, issue purchase orders, and assist with financial reporting to ensure costs stay under control.
About You :
- You’re passionate about delivering excellent customer service and enjoy building relationships with residents and clients.
- You’re a natural multitasker, able to manage your time and juggle tasks efficiently.
- You’ve got experience with systems like databases (Qube knowledge is a bonus) and are confident using Microsoft Office.
- You communicate clearly and professionally—whether over the phone, in writing, or face-to-face.
- You’ve got experience working with contractors and managing reactive maintenance (if not, you’re ready to learn fast!).

Qualifications & Experience :
- A good standard of education is essential.
- Property qualifications (e.g., IRPM Part 1) would be an advantage but not essential.
- Previous experience in customer service and contractor management is desirable.

Encore operate a hybrid working model, for this role the requirement is 2 days in the office, 2 days from home and 1 day on site.The salary for this role is £30,000 per annum.
