Full Time SEND Teacher
Job Duties: Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students with Autism, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, and Severe Learning DifficultiesCreate a supportive and inclusive learning environmentAssess student progress and provide feedbackCollaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to support student development Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Experience working with students with SENDKnowledge of SEND codes of practise Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt teaching methods accordinglyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary teamStrong organisational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational NeedsTraining in Makaton or other communication systems All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
