A vibrant and inclusive primary school in the London Borough of Brent is seeking a dedicated EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in Nursery and Reception.

The Role
You will work closely with children who require additional support to access learning, helping them to develop communication skills, emotional regulation, and confidence within the classroom environment. Many pupils supported in this role have EHCPs or are undergoing assessment.
You will:
Deliver personalised support aligned with individual learning plans
Encourage positive interactions with peers
Use visual supports, routines, and sensory strategies
Support transitions throughout the school day
Responsibilities
Provide consistent, nurturing support
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCo, and external agencies
Support children with toileting and personal care if required
Observe and record progress
Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
