You will join our Project Management Team
As our new Project Manager, you will be part of our Buildings Division in London, UK, reporting into the project management lead in the office. We work across a variety of projects and sectors from large commercial and residential developments, boutique hotels and high-end retail stores to higher education and science buildings locally, nationally and internationally. The London office team culture is one of inclusion, collaboration and enjoyment, where they warmly welcome new team members into their fold.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Supporting the delivery of projects from inception to completion ensuring that scope, contracts, programmes, change management, risk registers, budgets and QA procedures are all in place and maintained through the life of a project.
- Supporting our Multidisciplinary design consultancy team and leading internal coordination meetings.
- Ensuring all internal governance procedures are adhered to.
- Representing Ramboll and developing positive and collaborative working relationships with project team, clients and contractors.
- Assume responsibility for the day to day management of all project activities including Monthly Reports, Minutes and Programmes, and delivery of presentations when required.
- Ensuring coordinated and high-quality deliverables from our multidisciplinary teams
- Support to bid teams and preparation of proposals for multi-disciplinary tenders alongside the discipline team leaders.
Your key deliverables for this role will be:
- Supporting the delivery of projects to budget, time and quality
- Creating positive working relationships with Design teams.
- Coordinating design deliverables and ensuring quality outputs
- Developing safe, sustainable and profitable solutions

- Minimum HNC/HND in a Building/Civil Engineering/Project Management or related discipline, however a degree is preferred
- Track record demonstrating experience of the design and construction process
- Experience of managing your own workload within a multidisciplinary consultancy
- A basic understanding of contracts and procurement methods e.g. NEC, JCT, ACE, ICE, GC Works or FIDIC, however this is not essential as training will be provided as required
- Excellent communication and good IT skills are essential to fulfil this position
- Ability to coordinate high quality reports with our technical teams.
- Ability to interrogate financial information.
- Keen to work towards an appropriate construction focused association or Institute (APM) etc.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, including CDM Regulations is desirable, however training will be provided
