A highly successful secondary school in Camden is seeking an experienced and commercially minded School Business Manager to join its senior leadership team.

This is a key strategic position within the school, offering the opportunity to lead and oversee finance, HR, premises, compliance, and operational management. Working closely with the Headteacher and Governors, you will play a central role in ensuring the school continues to provide an outstanding educational experience for its students while maintaining efficient and effective day-to-day operations.

The successful candidate will be a confident leader with strong financial and organisational expertise, capable of balancing strategic planning with operational delivery. This role would suit an experienced School Business Manager or an established operations professional with significant experience within the education sector.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Significant experience in School Business Management or a senior operational leadership role within education.

  • Strong financial management skills, including budget planning, forecasting, and financial reporting.

  • Experience overseeing HR, compliance, contracts, and facilities management.

  • Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to leadership.

  • The legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available).

Salary & Benefits

  • £50,000 – £60,000 per annum (Inner London)
