A well-regarded secondary school in Enfield (North London) is seeking a calm, organised and highly professional Attendance & Pastoral Administrator to join its pastoral support team. This is a key role for someone who understands that attendance and pastoral systems support safeguarding, wellbeing and achievement—and who takes pride in accurate records, timely follow-up and clear communication.

About the Role
As Attendance & Pastoral Administrator , you will support daily attendance routines and wider pastoral administration. Responsibilities typically include:
Monitoring registers and ensuring attendance information is accurate each day
First-day response calls/messages and logging outcomes clearly
Supporting pastoral teams with admin tasks, records and communication
Producing attendance and pastoral reports for leaders as required
Supporting meetings, action plans and documentation linked to pupil support
Liaising professionally with families and external agencies where appropriate
Maintaining confidentiality and supporting safeguarding procedures
Key Information
Location: Enfield, London
Start Date: ASAP / next term (or by agreement)
Contract: Full-time, permanent (or as agreed)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
What the School is Looking For
Experience in school admin, attendance or pastoral support (desirable)
Excellent organisation and accurate record keeping
Confident communication skills and a calm, professional manner
Confidence using IT systems, spreadsheets and database-style platforms
Understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and professional boundaries
Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy school day
