An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and committed English Teacher to join an ambitious school in Newham from January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent role within a diverse and high-achieving English department.

The successful candidate will teach English across KS3 and KS4, with access to innovative schemes of work and a rich range of literary texts. The department places a strong emphasis on analytical writing, creative response, and oracy. The school values cross-curricular initiatives and offers students opportunities to participate in writing festivals, spoken word events and theatre workshops.
Experience and Qualifications
- QTS with a specialism in English
- Proven success teaching at KS3 and KS4
- Excellent subject knowledge and interest in literature and literacy
- Legal right to work in the UK
