HE Teacher – Harrow (North West London)
Start Date: After Easter 2026
Contract: Long-Term or Permanent
Salary: Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS)
Career Teachers are currently recruiting for a PSHE Teacher to join a welcoming and well-established secondary school in the London Borough of Harrow, starting after the Easter break.
This role is available on either a long-term supply basis or as a permanent appointment, offering flexibility depending on the successful candidate’s preference.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to supporting young people’s personal development, wellbeing and life skills through a high-quality and engaging PSHE curriculum.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
Deliver engaging PSHE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Support students in areas such as wellbeing, relationships, personal development and life skills
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Work collaboratively with pastoral teams and teaching staff
Encourage open discussion and critical thinking in the classroom
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching PSHE or a related subject within secondary education
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A passion for supporting students’ wellbeing and development
Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
