School Receptionist - Woolwich
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organised School Receptionist to join a busy and welcoming primary school in Woolwich, starting as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a school environment, supporting staff, pupils, and parents, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.

As a School Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff. You will manage phone calls, emails, and daily administrative tasks, ensuring the office runs efficiently and professionally. Accuracy, discretion, and excellent organisational skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome parents, staff, and visitors to the school in a friendly and professional manner
Answer and manage incoming phone calls and emails efficiently
Maintain accurate pupil and staff records, including attendance and admissions
Provide administrative support to teaching staff and the senior leadership team
Manage daily office tasks, including filing, correspondence, and scheduling appointments
Assist with organising school events, meetings, and communications
Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
Support the smooth running of the school office and wider school operations
Liaise with external agencies, contractors, and suppliers as required
Contribute to a professional, organised, and welcoming school environment
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
Have prior experience in school reception, administration, or a similar role
Be friendly, approachable, and professional
Demonstrate excellent organisational and multitasking skills
Be confident in using Microsoft Office and school management systems
Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Be reliable, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Show a commitment to safeguarding and supporting a school environment
