The school prides itself on creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where pupils, staff, and visitors feel valued. Senior leadership provides mentoring, guidance, and development opportunities for office staff to succeed and thrive in their roles.

As a School Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff. • Maintain accurate pupil and staff records, including attendance and admissions

  • Provide administrative support to teaching staff and the senior leadership team

  • Manage daily office tasks, including filing, correspondence, and scheduling appointments

  • Assist with organising school events, meetings, and communications

  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations

  • Support the smooth running of the school office and wider school operations

  • Liaise with external agencies, contractors, and suppliers as required

  • Contribute to a professional, organised, and welcoming school environment

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will:

  • Have prior experience in school reception, administration, or a similar role

  • Be friendly, approachable, and professional

  • Demonstrate excellent organisational and multitasking skills

  • Be confident in using Microsoft Office and school management systems

  • Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Be reliable, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team

  • Show a commitment to safeguarding and supporting a school environment

The school is located in Woolwich, with excellent transport links and a supportive local community. Staff benefit from a professional, inclusive, and well-resourced working environment where collaboration, development, and wellbeing are prioritised.

How to Apply

To apply, please submit an up-to-date CV outlining your experience and suitability for the role.
