Salary: £17.65
This post is not open to hybrid working. The role requires the candidate to operated throughout the Borough.
Must have a valid Driving License
Must hold a recognised Pest Control Qualification (RSPH Level 2 or equivalent).
Weekend work is required on which overtime will be paid(on an Ad-hoc basis)
Knowledge
Detailed knowledge of public health and nuisance pest species, their habitat, biology, significance and measures used for their control. S
Detailed knowledge of Health and safety and other relevant legislation S
Aptitude and Skills
Good oral and written communication skills.
Able to organise, plan and prioritise own workload.
Able to keep accurate records
Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
Experience
Good practical experience and understanding of pest control operations and methodology.
Experience of dealing with the public in a diverse cultural environment
Personal Qualities
Self starter, able to use own initiative. Innovative and enterprising.
General Education
Must hold a recognised Pest Control qualification or have relevant experience in the field
Circumstances
Able to work evenings and weekends
Must hold full UK Driving License.
Physical
Generally candidates must meet standard Lewisham requirements for the post.
