The school is proud of its inclusive ethos and strong community values. Staff work collaboratively to ensure all pupils feel safe, supported, and motivated to learn. The leadership team is approachable and places a strong emphasis on professional development, wellbeing, and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning across the school.
The Role

You will use assessment effectively to monitor progress, identify gaps, and adapt teaching accordingly. A strong focus on phonics, early writing, and numeracy will be central to the role.
You will work closely with teaching assistants, Key Stage 1 colleagues, and senior leaders to ensure consistency and continuity across the phase. Building positive relationships with parents and carers will also be an important part of your role, supporting pupils both in school and at home.

Support pupils transitioning from Reception into Key Stage 1
Deliver structured phonics sessions and early reading interventions

Communicate effectively with parents and carers
Participate in staff meetings, planning sessions, and CPD opportunities
