Site Manager
A thriving Mixed Secondary School in the London Borough of Redbridge is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead its premises team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and highly organised individual to take responsibility for the daily operation, maintenance and security of a busy secondary school site. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that students, staff and visitors benefit from a safe, secure and exceptionally well-maintained learning environment.
The Site Manager will oversee all aspects of site management including planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, contractor management, site security and health and safety compliance. You will manage the premises team, coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure statutory inspections are completed efficiently.
Responsibilities include supervising contractors, monitoring premises budgets, arranging servicing of equipment, maintaining compliance records and ensuring the school meets all health and safety legislation.
You will also support capital improvement projects, oversee site security procedures, coordinate emergency maintenance and ensure school facilities are prepared for examinations, performances, parents' evenings and community events.
Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, you will identify opportunities to improve the school environment while maintaining exceptionally high operational standards.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, excellent organisational abilities and previous experience managing school or commercial premises.

Requirements
• Previous Site Manager or Premises Manager experience
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation
• Experience managing contractors and maintenance programmes
• Excellent leadership and organisational skills
• Budget management experience desirable
• Good practical maintenance knowledge
• Ability to work independently and prioritise workloads effectively
