Role overview
The appointed Year 3 Teacher will teach a curious cohort and design cross-curricular units that deepen comprehension, reasoning and creative thinking. The Year 3 Teacher will join planning meetings before January 2026 , attend induction in January 2026 , and begin teaching from January 2026 as a Full-Time Year 3 Teacher . The Year 3 Teacher will work with skilled TAs and contribute to enrichment such as clubs and local visits.
What the Year 3 Teacher will do
• As the Year 3 Teacher , plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop reading fluency and number sense.
• As the Year 3 Teacher , use assessment to inform teaching and provide targeted support.
• As the Year 3 Teacher , engage families through regular communication and celebration of progress.
• As the Year 3 Teacher , contribute to whole-school initiatives and pastoral care.
