Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract: Long-term

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm, inclusive, and supportive Primary School in Enfield. This role is ideal for someone who truly wants to have a positive daily impact on a child’s school experience.

- Provide one-to-one support to a pupil with special educational needs, ensuring they feel engaged, safe, and supported throughout the school day.
- Build strong, positive relationships that encourage confidence, independence, and progress.
- Assist the class teacher with daily activities and contribute to maintaining a calm, inclusive classroom environment.
- Demonstrate an understanding of a wide range of needs, from mild to more complex.
- Follow EHCP targets and work closely with the SENCO to deliver consistent, tailored support.
- Work flexibly across EYFS to KS2 as required.
- Previous experience supporting SEND pupils or working within SEND settings (school-based or similar environments).
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach with the ability to build trust and rapport.
- The right to work in the UK.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two professional references.
What We Are Looking For
If you are a caring, committed SEN Teaching Assistant seeking your next long-term role, we would be delighted to hear from you.
