2025 UK Graduate BIM Technician: Energy - Nuclear and Defence
We are looking to grow our team with a Graduate BIM Technician joining our building services team in Glasgow. As a Graduate BIM Technician, you will utilise 2D and 3D software; Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Building Information Modelling (BIM) packages such as Revit and AutoCAD to create technical drawings, models and designs for a range of projects across our Energy Unit (EEN).
We are looking for committed and motivated graduates with a genuine passion and a desire to make a difference in the world. To be eligible for this opportunity, you will have less than 12 months relevant experience (excluding placements) (obtained no earlier than 2023) and are expected to achieve a minimum HND qualification or preferably a degree qualification in one of the following subjects: 1. Mechanical Engineering 2. Electrical Engineering 3. Building Information Modelling/Computer Aided Design We are looking for graduates with the following characteristics: 1. Methodical approach to problem solving. 2. Ability to use your initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently. 3. Excellent verbal communication skills. 4. Excellent written communication and attention to detail. 5. Basic knowledge of appropriate Building Services principles, techniques, and methods. 6.
