Senior Controls Project Engineer
• Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience)
• Location: Manchester
• Contract: Permanent, full-time Role Overview: You’ll be responsible for designing, programming, commissioning, and optimising advanced control systems that power high-value automation projects. This includes developing LLC code, SCADA solutions, and safety systems, while taking the lead on technical problem-solving and system integration. Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Proven experience in controls engineering, ideally with Siemens S7 platforms
• Strong knowledge of SCADA applications (WinCC or similar)
• Ability to design and implement safety systems (Siemens S7-F, PILZ, conventional)
• Background in material handling, automation, or large-scale control systems
