Maintenance Technician (Cambridge/Norwich)

We’re expanding quickly and are now looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our innovative team as our newest #bloqstar. In this role, you’ll be essential in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing our smart locker hardware, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality service for our clients.

What you’ll be doing

• Perform on-site mechanical repairs and troubleshooting to ensure the proper functioning of smart lockers
• Conduct functional tests and repair low-voltage components
• Verify and inspect the quality of electrical installations
• Handle software fault reports remotely and coordinate with the technical team
• Manage replacement parts and electronic testing using technical documentation
• Document interventions, report results, and recommend improvements
• Support deployment tasks, including loading, installing, and testing lockers, as well as organizing warehouse inventory
  

What are the requirements

• Good level of English
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Excellent customer service skills, patience, and professionalism
• Comfort working with both hardware and software
• Proven ability to multitask and prioritize projects

Extra valued skills

• Technical vocational training or equivalent experience
• Electrical certifications
• Familiarity with startup culture
