A nurturing and welcoming Catholic primary school in Kensington is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join its team from January 2026 . This is an exciting opportunity for an early years educator to inspire children and deliver high-quality, creative learning in a faith-based setting.

Role Overview

As the EYFS Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based lessons for Nursery and Reception pupils.
  • Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Observe, assess, and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback to parents and carers.
  • Work closely with colleagues to develop the Early Years curriculum and share best practice.
  • Embed the school’s Catholic ethos and values throughout classroom activities.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in EYFS , ideally in a faith-based or Catholic school.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum, assessment, and child development.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
  • A caring, patient, and creative approach to teaching young children.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and support the school’s ethos and values.
