PA to the Bursar - Independent School - Tower Hamlets
A well-established independent school in Tower Hamlets is seeking an experienced and highly organised PA to the Bursar to join its central administrative team. The Bursar plays a pivotal role in the financial and operational oversight of the school, and this position offers the opportunity to work at the centre of strategic decision-making.

The Role
As PA to the Bursar, you will provide high-level administrative and organisational support across finance, estates and operational functions. You will manage sensitive information, coordinate meetings and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Bursar’s office.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing complex diaries and coordinating internal and external meetings
• Preparing briefing documents, reports and presentation materials
• Taking accurate minutes at finance and operations meetings
• Handling confidential correspondence and documentation
• Acting as a liaison between the Bursar, senior leaders, governors and external contractors
• Supporting procurement and contract administration processes
• Coordinating compliance documentation and audit preparation
You will work closely with the finance and estates teams, ensuring communication is efficient and professional.

Experience within a school or finance environment would be advantageous but is not essential for a strong candidate.
