ABOUT THE ENGLISH TEACHER ROLE

Teaching English across KS3 and KS4, Any English A-level would an advantage
Biology, Chemistry or Physics specialisms welcomed
Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons
Work alongside an experienced team of English Teachers
Support students across a wide range of abilities
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
Contribute to the continued success of the English department

THE SUCCESSFUL ENGLISH TEACHER WILL HAVE:

QTS or equivalent
Previous experience teaching English within a UK secondary school
Strong subject knowledge
Good classroom and behaviour management
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A genuine enthusiasm for English
The ability to work effectively as part of a department
Full-time availability and commitment to the role
