Teaching Assistant | Lambeth
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lambeth is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team from January 2026. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils with additional needs, both academically and socially, helping them access the curriculum and develop confidence within a structured, nurturing environment.
You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to provide targeted support in small groups and one-to-one settings. Responsibilities include assisting pupils with differentiated tasks, promoting positive behaviour, and helping children build independence. The role requires close collaboration with staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure every pupil receives the support they need.
The school prides itself on its inclusive ethos, calm learning environment, and strong leadership. Staff benefit from excellent professional development, access to SEN training, and a supportive team culture. Applicants should be patient, reliable, and adaptable, with experience working in educational settings or transferable experience in care or youth work.
This is a rewarding position for someone passionate about education, inclusion, and making a meaningful difference to pupils’ lives.
To be considered for this teaching position, please forward a CV as soon as possible.
