Enterprise Account Executive (New Business)

As an Enterprise Account Executive focused on the UK market , you'll own the full new-business sales cycle — from identifying and engaging prospective clients to closing strategic deals. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across HR, Finance, and Procurement to position Workable as the platform of choice for companies ready to transform their hiring and people operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new enterprise clients (500+ employees) in the UK market through a mix of inbound and outbound sales activities
- Generate and manage a robust sales pipeline, consistently meeting or exceeding new business targets
- Conduct discovery sessions, deliver tailored product demonstrations, and engage in consultative selling with senior stakeholders
- Manage complex sales cycles, including procurement processes and commercial negotiations
- Close deals with annual contract values ranging from $20,000 to $100,000
- Maintain disciplined CRM usage for accurate forecasting and pipeline management
- Navigate and build relationships with key decision-makers, including Procurement and Finance stakeholders
Requirements
- 5+ years of enterprise SaaS new business closing experience with large accounts (500+ employees)
- Proven outbound prospecting and pipeline generation skills
- Experience conducting discovery sessions, delivering product demos, and applying a consultative sales approach
- Track record managing complex sales cycles, including procurement and commercial negotiation
- Successful experience closing deals with annual contract values between $20,000 and $100,000
- Hands-on experience using a CRM for forecasting and pipeline management
- Ability to navigate Procurement and Finance stakeholders in enterprise deals
- Professional proficiency in English
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
- Ability to travel within the UK approximately 5% of the time
- Availability to start within 3 months
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing enterprise sales cycles typically 60–90 days, with some deals extending to 6+ months
- Hands-on Salesforce CRM experience
- Experience selling to senior HR/People leaders (e.g., Head of Talent/People, HR Director, Chief People Officer)
