About the Role
As Admissions Assistant, you will support the admissions team in managing enquiries, applications, and communication with prospective families. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal communication, as you will often be the first point of contact for families considering the school.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the administration of the school’s admissions process
Responding to enquiries from prospective parents via phone, email, and in person
Organising and supporting school tours, open days, and admissions events
Maintaining accurate records of enquiries, applications, and offers
Supporting communication with parents throughout the admissions process
Preparing documentation and reports related to admissions activities
Working closely with senior staff to ensure admissions procedures are followed effectively
Providing general administrative support to the wider school office when required
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will:
Have previous administrative or office experience, ideally in a school or education setting
Demonstrate excellent organisational and time-management skills
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with parents and visitors
Be confident using office software and database systems
Maintain professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
Be able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
