humanoid
London

Here at Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. That’s why we’ve set out on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 Alpha - our rapidly developed humanoid platform now running in real industrial pilots - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Global Logistics Manager to join our team based in London, UK. We are seeking an experienced Global Logistics Manager to lead and govern the global movement of goods, freight operations, and cross-border logistics across Humanoid’s global sites. Reporting to the Senior Manager - WILP, you will partner with teams in London, Boston, and Vancouver to deliver efficient, compliant, and scalable global logistics operations.

What You'll Do

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Humanoid’s global logistics strategy, covering freight, transportation, 3PLs, (4PLs) and cross-border material flow.

  • Establish global logistics standards, processes, KPIs, and governance frameworks across all regions.

  • Define global carrier, freight forwarder, and 3PL (4PL) strategies, including performance management and commercial terms.

  • Ensure compliance with global trade regulations, customs requirements, and export controls relevant to robotics and technology.

  • Lead global logistics risk management, including continuity planning, route optimisation, and supplier resilience.

  • Provide strategic guidance and escalation support to regional logistics and procurement teams.

  • Drive continuous improvement across global logistics processes, systems, and documentation.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Oversee global freight bookings and import / export documentation where central coordination is required.

  • Support regional teams in resolving logistics bottlenecks, supplier delivery issues, and cross-site material transfers.

  • Maintain global visibility of inbound shipments, inventory positioning, and material readiness.

  • Support SAP (S/4HANA) logistics and MRP-related activities, ensuring accurate data flow and system utilisation.

  • Coordinate logistics for prototype builds, engineering trials, and production ramp-up activities.

  • Provide hands-on support during urgent shipments, escalations, and time-critical logistics events.

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Build and scale the global logistics capability as Humanoid grows.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a small but expanding team within the WILP pillar.

  • Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance expectations aligned to global standards.

  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and continuous-improvement culture.

  • Act as a senior escalation point for regional logistics.

  • Deputise for the Senior Manager – WILP when required.

What We're Looking For

Experience & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain leadership experience in manufacturing, robotics, technology, automotive, or aerospace.

  • Proven experience managing global freight, customs, and cross-border logistics operations.

  • Experience working across KSA, North America, and Europe (highly desirable).

  • Strong understanding of import / export regulations, customs classifications, and trade compliance (including EAR).

  • Experience in fast-paced, engineering-driven environments or high-growth startups.

  • Degree or Masters in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience with SAP (S/4HANA preferred) and MRP/ERP systems.

  • Strong analytical, numerical, and planning capabilities.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Google Workspace, Slack, and database management.

  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems; SAP 4Hana highly desirable.

  • Strong understanding of logistics SLAs, carrier performance frameworks, and 3PL/4PL service agreements.

  • Ability to translate Engineering language into commercial arrangements.

  • Strong analytical, numerical, and planning capabilities.

  • Deep understanding of global logistics operations, freight optimisation, and 3PL management.

  • Knowledge of customs processes, Carnets, HS codes, duties, and export controls.

  • Ability to interpret engineering requirements and translate them into logistics solutions.

  • Familiarity with inventory visibility, material flow, and planning constraints (supporting role).

  • Strong capability in data analysis, forecasting, and KPI development.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across global teams.

  • Highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on mindset when required.

  • Professional, motivated, and able to operate autonomously with minimal oversight.

  • Able to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution.

What We Offer

  • Competitive equity: stock options with meaningful upside as we scale.

  • 30+ paid days off, including 23 days of annual leave, all UK bank holidays, and additional company closure days (including Christmas–New Year shutdown).

  • Private healthcare, including virtual and in-person care.

  • Pension scheme with 8% total contribution (5% employee, 3% employer) on full earnings.
