Are you a seasoned healthcare consultant with deep expertise in corporate health solutions and healthcare trusts?

Gallagher Benefit Services (GBS) UK is seeking a driven and knowledgeable Senior Healthcare Consultant to join our Employee Benefits team. This is a regulated, specialist role requiring a strong track record in corporate healthcare consulting, with a particular emphasis on healthcare trust structures .

As a Senior Healthcare Consultant, you’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-value corporate clients, delivering strategic advice and tailored solutions across the healthcare spectrum. You’ll play a key role in driving revenue growth, ensuring compliance, and contributing to national initiatives and technical excellence.

How you'll make an impact

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead client relationships across a portfolio of corporate healthcare clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Deliver innovative, compliant solutions for complex employee benefits needs.
  • Drive revenue through retention, cross-selling, referrals, and new business development.
  • Ensure profitability across your portfolio and manage fee structures effectively.
  • Provide specialist advice on healthcare trusts, including Corporate Excess/Deductible, Master Trust, and Full Healthcare Trusts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support strategic initiatives and mentor junior colleagues.
  • Maintain high standards of governance, compliance, and operational delivery.
About You

We’re looking for a confident, technically strong consultant who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. You’ll bring a deep understanding of the healthcare market and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant professional certification (e.g. CII IF7 or equivalent).
  • Commitment to ongoing CPD and technical development.

Essential Experience & Skills:

  • Extensive experience in corporate healthcare consulting , with demonstrable expertise in healthcare trust structures .
  • Proven success managing complex client relationships and delivering high-impact solutions.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify growth opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under pressure.
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders (e.g. MDs, FDs) and presenting at pitch level.
