Chef Manager
Aramark UK is looking to hire an experienced and dedicated Chef Manager to join the fantastic team at the Capital City College Sixth Form Centre, EC1V 7LA overseeing two key sites. This is an exciting, permanent and full time opportunity working 40 weeks of the year reporting into our Group Manager on site.
The role will assume responsibility for all food production across a busy and rewarding breakfast and lunch service at the school whilst leading the team to success.

A day in the life of a Chef Manager:
- Take ownership and accountability of all operational food management; production and service across the site
- Lead and manage the team to success
- Develop good commercial relationships with suppliers, ensuring receipt of service and quality levels required to obtain the highest financial return
- Ensure all daily paper / computer work is complete and that inventories and reports are completed correctly and at the right time
- Be accountable for the management and delivery of budget food subsidy, including GP & labour costs
- Manage all casual labour including porters and ensure all food and labour costs are in line with budget and business needs
- Be accountable for stock flow and rotation of product within the unit
- Ensure a consistent high standard of hospitality offer
You'll be set up for success if you have:
- Experience operating as a Chef and able to run a kitchen and manage a team
- Contract catering or education experience preferred but not essential
- Hands on and reliable with a strong work ethic
- Passion for people and food
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
