NPD Executive
About Us:
Hi there👋we’re Wild. We’re on a mission to remove single-use plastic from the bathroom, armed with our refillable, natural and scent-sational deodorants, body wash, haircare and lip balm – and we’re only just getting started. We launched in 2020 and as a high-growth company we’re already one of Europe’s fastest growing start-ups🚀 So, fancy coming along for the ride?😃
The Role:
We're looking to hire a New Product Development Executive to join our Product team and support the development of our growing portfolio of D2C and Retail products. The successful candidate will be working across multiple product categories and will work closely with our NPD Managers to deliver our launch calendar for 2026 and beyond.
This is an amazing opportunity for someone just starting out in their product development career to gain hands-on experience of the NPD process at a fast-growing consumer brand with a purpose-driven mission. We’re looking for someone proactive and curious, who thrives in a lively, ever-evolving environment and loves getting stuck in.
You’ll learn a huge amount and fast, from concept development to product launch, and have the chance to make a real impact from day one. If you’re adaptable, eager to learn, and excited by the idea of growing with a brand that never stands still, you’ll fit right in.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for the personal care industry, an interest in sustainability-led innovation, and a strong desire to contribute to the success of new product launches. This role will report into the Senior NPD Manager and work closely with other teams across the business.
Please note, this is an entry/junior level role.
🚀 Some of your responsibilities:
Partner with our manufacturers to brief, test, and refine new formulations until final approval.
Organise and manage consumer testing, conduct competitor benchmarking, and analyse data to inform approvals and continuous product improvements.
Coordinate stability planning for new formula launches with external partners.
Help with managing supplier relationships and tracking external partners involved in the development process.
Maintain accurate documentation related to product development, ensuring critical paths, cost of goods and margin analyses, risk assessments, and other key details are accurate and up to date.
Compile and analyse existing data, along with inputs from wider teams, to prepare monthly product reports highlighting issues, improvements, and opportunities.
Take the lead on your own NPD projects, with Senior NPD Manager support.
🚀What we need from you:
Please note that we welcome applications from candidates who may not hit every single bullet point on the lists below - if you’re passionate about our mission and feel you have relevant skills and experiences to add value to this role, please submit an application!
Strong interest in the personal care, beauty, or FMCG industries.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with an ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.
A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and grow. Happy to get involved across multiple different product elements and roll up your sleeves.
Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
Strong analytical and Excel skills.
🙌 What you’ll get from us:
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays + 9 extra remote working days
- Hybrid working: 3 days a week in our shiny new London office
- 4% Company Pension
- Mental well-being support through Spill
- Private healthcare through Vitality
