Family Legal Secretary
Salary: Up to £35,000 (depending on experience) About the Role: As a Family Legal Secretary, you will play a key role in supporting solicitors and legal executives with a variety of administrative and secretarial duties. You'll be working closely with the Family Law department, ensuring efficient case progression and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Providing secretarial support to solicitors handling family law matters, including divorce, child arrangements, and financial disputes Audio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondence Managing diaries, scheduling appointments, and arranging meetings Liaising with clients, courts, and third parties in a professional manner Opening, closing, and archiving client files in line with compliance procedures Preparing court bundles and legal documents General administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and document management Requirements: Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within a Family Law department Excellent typing skills (audio and copy) and strong attention to detail Confident using case management systems and Microsoft Office Strong organisational and time management abilities Professional, discreet, and able to handle sensitive information with care Friendly and confident client-facing skills What's on Offer: Competitive salary up to £35,000, depending on experience A friendly and supportive team environment Career stability within a respected local firm Convenient Uxbridge location, close to public transport links Opportunities for ongoing development and training
